Cardinal Health (CAH) said Thursday it is collaborating with software company Palantir Technologies (PLTR) to develop a supply chain management tool for pharmaceuticals.

The tool is expected to integrate Cardinal's platform with Palantir's operating system to combine clinical data, AI, machine learning and customer data to support pharmaceutical companies in managing supply chains, Cardinal Health said.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
