Tesla (TSLA) was down 1.2% premarket, after inching up 0.1% Tuesday. Twitter, which is owned by Tesla's Chief Executive Elon Musk, saw advertising spending on its platform drop by 71% in December, according to media reports that cited data from Standard Media Index.
Microsoft (MSFT) fell 2.5% premarket, adding to a 0.2% decline in the previous session. On Tuesday, the technology giant reported lower fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings, while revenue rose. Additionally, Microsoft said Wednesday that it is "investigating issues impacting multiple Microsoft 365 services."
Among other stocks in focus, Palantir Technologies (PLTR) slipped 1.3% premarket, after plunging 4.9% Tuesday, while Nvidia (NVDA) shed 1.6% premarket, after climbing 0.4% Tuesday. Exxon Mobil (XOM) was down 0.6% premarket, following a 0.9% gain Tuesday.
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) fell 1.6% premarket, adding to a 2.4% decline Tuesday, while McDonald's (MCD) edged down 0.4% premarket, after rising 0.1% Tuesday.
Bucking the trend, Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) advanced 1.5% before the opening bell, adding to a 15% surge Tuesday.
