As part of the agreement, a cargo vessel has docked in Everett, Wash., with more than 250 new containers for the expansion of Hunt's intermodal fleet, while a second vessel is expected to dock in California in July with more new containers, the company said.
J.B. Hunt said the agreement will give the company ongoing cargo shipping opportunities from the Shenzhen, Qingdao and Shanghai markets in China to ports in California and the Pacific Northwest, helping clients that are facing supply-chain issues.
