Superior Group of Companies Inc SGC:NASDAQ

Superior Group of Companies (SGC) said Tuesday its board named Michael Koempel as the new chief financial officer, effectively Tuesday.

Koempel, who was most recently chief operating officer of IT'SUGAR, will succeed Andrew D. Demott, Jr., who will resign as CFO on Tuesday, the company said.

The company said Demott will remain as chief operating officer and he aims to retire as an employee in 2023.
