Intuit's (INTU) QuickBooks and Employers Holdings' (EIG) Cerity have partnered to offer compensation insurance coverage to small business customers, according to a Tuesday statement.

The move will support businesses' efforts to safeguard their staff members in the event of a workplace-related injury or illness.

Shares of Intuit gained 2.3% in recent trading activity, while Employers Holdings added 1.1%.
