Tesla (TSLA) shares lost 6.4%. The US electric automaking giant has countersued JPMorgan Chase (JPM), responding to the bank's attempt to recover $162 million over a disputed stock warrants transaction, according to media reports.
Robinhood Markets (HOOD) continued its negative streak and fell 2.2%, and Palantir Technologies (PLTR) declined 6.5%.
Microsoft (MSFT) dropped 3.3%. The technology company is jointly launching a cross-platform "logistics as a service" with FedEx (FDX) for retailers, merchants, and brands as part of the multi-year partnership deal the companies signed in May 2020.
Apple (AAPL) dipped 3.2% after the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets asked the iPhone giant to pay 5 million euros after failing to adjust its conditions for access to the Dutch App Store for dating-app providers. Both Microsoft and Apple are set to report their quarterly results this week.
Netflix (NFLX) sank 6.6% amid a slew of price target downgrades. Jefferies lowered its price target on Netflix to $415 from $737 while also downgrading its rating on the stock to a hold from a buy. Argus cut its price target to $570 From $720.
Peloton (PTON) climbed 7.6% on a report that Blackwells Capital has called on the exercise equipment company to fire its CEO and explore a sale.
ContextLogic (WISH) was off 6.7%.
