The online hydroponic equipment retailer said it will contribute $50,000 for a 40% stake in Box Harmony, which became effective last Friday, with an option to buy up to an additional 20% stake.
iPower said Box Harmony provides it with a low-cost option to grow into e-commerce value chain services.
Shares of iPower were 8.4% higher in early trading.
