Walmart to Build Fulfillment Facility in Mississippi to Increase Supply Chain Capacity

Walmart (WMT) said Thursday that it plans to build a more than 1 million square-foot fulfillment center in Olive Branch, Mississippi, as part of the retailer's plan to add more capacity to its supply chain.

The company said the facility, expected to open this spring, will create approximately 250 full-time, permanent jobs. Shares of Walmart are down nearly 1% in premarket trading.
