Brookdale Senior Living Says December 2021 Weighted Average Occupancy Rate at 73.6% Vs. 71.5% Year Ago

Brookdale Senior Living (BKD) said Monday its weighted average occupancy rate for December 2021 was 73.6% compared with 71.5% in the year-ago period.

The December 2021 month-end figure was 74.5%, up from 71.5% a year ago, the company said.

Brookdale said it saw positive year-on-year quarterly weighted average occupancy growth for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
