Snowflake (SNOW) and Datadog (DDOG) are among software companies expected to expand product leadership and free-cash-flow generation in 2022, Goldman Sachs analysts said in a research note listing its top sector picks.
Snowflake will reach $5 billion in annual revenue quicker than leading software-as-a-service peers, the analysts said.
Software-services provider Datadog will likely grow into a "preeminent" infrastructure software business thanks to an expanding product portfolio and a "solidly" profitable business model, Goldman said.
MongoDB (MDB), Monday.com (MNDY) and Unity Software (U) are also among 2022 top picks for Goldman Sachs based on rapid growth, while Microsoft (MSFT), ServiceNow (NOW) and Adobe (ADBE) were among the stocks making the cut as providers of "quality growth at a reasonable price," according to the note.
Salesforce.com (CRM) and Intuit (INTU) made the list in the "self-help" category, with both companies expected to deliver upside results due to recent acquisitions.
