eBay, which operates a sneaker marketplace, said the acquisition will enable it to further empower its community to buy and sell footwear "with total confidence."
The acquisition is an extension of collaboration between the two sides. Last year, eBay started an authenticity guarantee service that provides full vetting and verification of select sneakers bought on the marketplace by Sneaker Con's industry experts.
