Lululemon Athletica (LULU) shares climbed more than 11% after the seller of yoga and sports apparel reported non-GAAP net income of $1.65 per share for its Q2 ended Aug. 1, more than doubling its $0.74 per share profit a year earlier, while net sales grew 61% to $1.5 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected adjusted earnings of $1.19 per share on revenue of $1.33 billion, on average.
China Liberal Education Holdings (CLEU) was nearly 17% lower, reversing a 34% gain earlier Thursday after the educational services company announced a 25 million renminbi ($3.85 million) sale of 100 of its AI-Space all-in-one visualization machines to Beijing Cloud Class Technology for the construction and upgrading of about 100 university classrooms in China's Shandong province as well as in Mongolia.
