Focus Universal (FCUV) shares retreated more than 7% to $17.90 in choppy Thursday afternoon trading after they were halted earlier due to volatility.

The stock was up as much as 31% earlier to $25.25.

The tech company made its debut on the Nasdaq Tuesday following a public offering of 2 million shares at $5 a piece. The stock was previously traded over-the-counter.
