The fast-food chain delayed the reopening of its offices to Oct. 11 from Sept. 7, requiring corporate employees to get fully vaccinated by Sept. 27. The workers can, however, seek exemption on medical or religious grounds, according to the report.
McDonald's said it was asked by state and local governments to push for vaccinations at the corporate level.
The requirement to be vaccinated is not applicable to McDonald's restaurant-level workers, CNBC noted.
