Flex (FLEX) shares climbed almost 9% after hours as the company reported fiscal 2021 Q2 non-GAAP net income of $0.36 a share, up from $0.31 a share in the same period of 2019 and ahead of the consensus on Capital IQ for $0.27 a share.

Net sales slipped to $5.99 billion from $6.09 billion a year earlier, while the Street was looking for $5.54 billion.

For fiscal Q3, the company is looking for revenue between $6 billion and $6.4 billion with adjusted earnings in a range between $0.34 to $0.40. The CapIQ consensus is for $6.02 billion in revenue and EPS of $0.32 a share.
