Operating revenue was $268.3 million for the three months ended June 30, down from $289.8 million a year earlier. The Street forecast was $317.7 million.
The energy company also reaffirmed its 2020 EPS guidance of $1.75 to $1.95.
Avista said it has filed for deferred accounting treatment of net COVID-19 expenses in each of its jurisdictions. However, it expects to experience regulatory lag until 2023. The company said it has filed a general rate case in Oregon in March and expects to file in Washington and Idaho in Q4.
