The Avaya IX subscription program will provide clients with a consumption-based alternative to traditional perpetual pricing models, and can also facilitate the transition to cloud, Avaya said. It will offer monthly or annual subscription payments and will enable customers to avoid the complexity and cost of software licensing and contract renewals.
As part of the program the company is providing trade-in and upgrade offers for existing customers to protect and extend their investments in Avaya communications infrastructure. Customers will be able to trade-in perpetual licenses for credits to be applied towards their subscription payments, Avaya said.
