Total operating revenue for the quarter was $289.8 million, down from $302.2 million for the same period last year, but below the analyst forecast of $312.2 million.
Avista said it is raising its 2019 guidance for consolidated earnings by $0.05 per diluted share to be in a range of $2.83 to $3.03. The company attributed the increased guidance to the gain on the sale of its METALfx subsidiary, and earnings from investments at other businesses.
