The company said that its fiscal Q2 net loss was $13 million, or $0.12 loss per share, missing consensus for a loss of $0.05 a share. The net loss last year was $130 million, or $1.18 a share.
The company's non-GAAP revenue also declined year-over-year to $714 million from $757 million, falling short of estimates of $748.5 million.
For fiscal Q3, Avaya expects non-GAAP revenue between $710 million and $725 million, lower than consensus estimates of $772 million. For the full fiscal year, the company expects non-GAAP revenue of $2.925 billion to $2.975 billion, also lower than consensus estimates of $3.07 billion.
